This annual event, organised by the dedicated efforts of volunteers from the Polish community in Victoria, has become a beloved tradition in Melbourne’s cultural calendar.

VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN SUCCESS

Since its inception in 2005, the Polish Festival @ Fed Square has been fuelled by the passion and commitment of volunteers, many of whom proudly trace their heritage to Poland. With a core committee of 12 members leading the charge and the support of over 30 individuals throughout the years, this festival embodies the spirit of community collaboration. Over 200 volunteers come together each year to ensure the festival’s success, contributing their time and talents to create an unforgettable experience for attendees.

SHARING TRADITIONS, BUILDING CONNECTIONS

More than just a cultural event, the Polish Festival @ Fed Square serves as a vital platform for the Polish Victorian community to share its rich traditions and heritage with the broader Melbourne population. Through engaging performances, tantalising cuisine, and interactive exhibits, attendees have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Polish culture, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.

Taxis and picking up/dropping off passengers

If you are accessing Fed Square by taxi, the safest pick-up and drop off zone is the taxi rank directly across the road on Swanston Street (outside Flinders Street Station).

To assist people with limited mobility, mobility equipment is available for hire. These include:
